LA alt/pop trio HiRSH have shared their “Beating Heart” official music video, available for streaming now on YouTube.
“As human beings I believe we’re prone to make the same mistakes over and over again,” explains vocalist Beau Hirshfield on the song. “Call it a pattern, a crutch or a habit. Call it whatever you like, I feel certain it’s relatable. For any human who feels stuck or has ever felt stuck. Pick yourself up and keep on. You got a beating heart.”
Beau Hirshfield started HiRSH as a solo project back in 2016 after his previous band, The New Peter Gabrielz, disbanded. He released a few tracks on his own, played a few shows and stared at the wall for a few months. Beau met Moses Truzman, aka Audiomoe, at a popular gymnasium in town and things started to click. They had a few writing sessions together working on some tracks for a Moroccan pop artist that didn’t vibe very well at all, so they decided to write some songs for themselves, and the result came together nicely. Jack-of-all-trades & Berklee grad Chris Caden joined via a Craig’s List ad shortly after, and the three have been steadily gaining steam in the Southern California music landscape since.
In support of the upcoming EP release, HiRSH will perform at The Peppermint Club in Los Angeles on June 29th. Tickets & more info on the show can be found HERE. Fans can expect more new music later in June in advance of the new EP. For more information on HiRSH, be sure to visit their official website at www.hirshmusic.com.
