2018 BAFTA Nominations Announced!

The BAFTA nominations have been announced and they really are a slew of misguided nominations and failures to fully recognise true British film making achievements in 2017. Of particular note is the outright absence of God’s Own Country in Best Film, Outstanding Debut, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Original Screenplay – and – Lady Macbeth was also robbed of Best Film, Outstanding British Film, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress, Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay.

Seriously, this list reads more like a Golden Globes line up than a BAFTAs run. Hugely disappointing for the domestic industry.
