Larger than life U.S. glam metal band Motley Crüe’s notoriously hard partying lifestyle was captured in glorious style on the pages of The Dirt: Confessions of the World’s Most Notorious Rock Band by Mick Mars, Neil Strauss, Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee, and Vince Neil.
Hollywood have been circling this project for years with Paramount Pictures, Focus Features and MTV Films jumping on board at one time or another. Jackass alumni Jeff Tremaine has been attached to direct the project since the beginning of the adaptation process and conversations have begun between the band and Netflix to get the movie rolling.
