It’s been a few years between drinks for Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. Two parts of the creative trio behind hits Spaced, Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, Paul, and The World’s End. (The odd man out is director Edgar Wright) Both have been busy with their individual careers but fret no more as, according to Frost, the boys are back writing together on a new project.
In an interview with Inverse Entertainment, Frost said:
“Simon and I are working on something. We’re trying to do something a bit special at the moment,” Frost tells Inverse. “It’s a work in progress, and we may have some more information on it later in the year… I think I’d [want] to do something in the sci-fi world,”
The article goes on to say that there’s no concrete idea of what form it will take, be it a film or a television show.
The question remains: Will Edgar Wright return to direct?
