Listen: ‘Phenomena’ by Concealed in Clouds

The second track their upcoming debut album Aspire. Apprise. Assemble. Arise., Phenomena marks Concealed in Clouds as a rock act to be reckoned with. These Scandinavian natives are a blistering new voice on the metal scene and you know, as well as I do, you need a good jolt to get your week started – here it is!

About the band (via Facebook): We are five out of six friends who once started a band in 2011. What started with what can only be described as a sloppy, indecisive and confused blend of metalcore and teen angst, eventually took a more compact and determined path, where our instrumental sound is to characterise our emotions and our lyrics to illustrate thoughts, questions and sentiment. We are constantly inspired by other talented artists, regardless of genre or industry.

We will not bind ourselves to a certain style, sound or concept. Concealed in Clouds is ambiguous, and intended to be creatively progressive and ever-changing.

In 2014 we released our debut EP “What We See With Our Eyes, What We Feel With Our Hands”, followed by single “Northern Star” and “Dewdrops” featuring Telle Smith of The Word Alive.
At present, we recently released a music video and single for ‘Aspire.’, the first single of our debut album ‘Aspire. Apprise. Assemble. Arise.’.

In a collective statement, the band provides further information about the track:

“This track showcases the heavier side of our upcoming debut album “Aspire. Apprise. Assemble. Arise.” that we hope our audience will thoroughly enjoy. As all of our songs, the lyrics in “Phenomena” are ambiguous and open for interpretation. A general theme we touch on in the song is the feeling of possessing something ultra. The feeling of having something within you that could move mountains and experiencing the urge to get out and actually move them too.”
