Warner Bros Circling Live Action English Version of ‘Attack On Titan’

Well, the Japanese did a two-part live action film franchise in 2015 and a subsequent television series of the beloved anime Attack on Titan. So, yeah, it’s a pretty big property and Warner Bros and their longtime partner, Harry Potter/Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them producer David Heyman, are circling the English language remake rights.

Warner Bros is also home to the long gestating, on again off again live action English language remake of the classic Akira. All eyes will be on Paramount Pictures Ghost In The Shell remake to see if there is thrust and gusto in anime adaptations and it looks as though Warner is hedging its bets on this one.
