Bernie Madoff is the subject of two high profile productions out of the U.S. this year. Firstly is this one, HBO’s The Wizard of Lies which stars Robert De Niro as Bernie and Michelle Pfeiffer as his wife Ruth as we walk the path of the stockbroker’s journey to the biggest financial crime in U.S. History. Barry Levinson directs the film.
ABC is also mounting a mini series starring Richard Dreyfuss and Blythe Danner is the roles and it is simply titled Madoff.
