Paramount Pictures are behind the mounting of Triple Frontier, an action thriller that originally had Kathryn Bigelow at the helm to direct Tom Hanks and Will Smith. As with many a film, times they keep on a’changing and those principles have since left the project but none other than Margin Call/A Most Violent Year/All Is Lost director J.C. Chandor is on board to direct the film.
Word on the street (or via Deadline) is that Tom Hardy and Channing Tatum are being sought for the lead roles in the film which is set on the borders between Paraguay, Argentina and Brazil. The screenplay is by The Hurt Locker/Zero Dark Thirty scribe Mark Boal.
Though neither actor is officially confirmed, it is highly likely to happen.
