Watch: U2’s Christmas Message + 30th Anniversary of ‘The Joshua Tree’ Message

On the 9th of March, 1987, U2 released what would become their landmark album The Joshua Tree. Timeless and still the crowning achievement of their long lasting career, the album catapulted them to global super group, won more awards than you can think of and delivered hits such as Where the Streets Have No Name, I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For, With or Without You, One Tree Hill, Mothers of the Disappeared, Red Hill Mining Town, Bullet the Blue Sky and In God’s Country. The whole album is all killer no filler.

Well, the lads from U2 have been quiet of late with their latest album Songs of Experience still not released (it was due in 2015). Whilst putting the finishing touches on that, the band dropped this Christmas message and a tiny morsel of what we can expect in 2017 – Can anyone say special The Joshua Tree live shows????
