Extras Wanted for ‘Holding The Man’

Holding The ManAn open casting call has gone out for any fellas in Melbourne who fits the bill for a scene in the big screen adaptation of Timothy Conigrave’s much loved memoir Holding The Man.

The producers of the Australian feature film ‘Holding The Man’ (a big-screen adaptation of Timothy Conigrave’s much loved memoir) are looking for thin male extras to play AIDS patients in scenes set in a hospital AIDS Ward in the early ’90s.

All applicants must be:

– Male
– Melbourne-based
– Between 18-70 years of age
– Very thin/gaunt

And must provide:

– A current head shot
– A current torso shot (either bare or in a singlet)
– Height and weight information
– Information re: whether or not they are willing to cut/shave their hair

At this stage, the scenes are scheduled to be shot on December 8 and 9, 2014.
Successful applicants are required to be available all day on both shoot days.
