The National Society Of Film Critics Awards For 2012 Announced

amour_ver2_xlgThe National Society Of Film Critics handed down their winners for the year that was 2012 and AMOUR came out on top yet again. The momentum behind the picture is so strong but is it strong enough for the film to break through the foreign language barrier for Oscar nominations and land a Best Picture nod? Another big wild card coming out of here is Matthew McConaughey who is having a critical stellar year – does he have it in him to get an oscar for MAGIC MIKE? He faces stiff competition in the face of Tommy Lee Jones for LINCOLN but the upset win here might tip the scales in his favour.

Nice to see THE MASTER pick up a couple of gongs for Amy Adams and Cinematography.
