2012 Super Bowl Most Watched TV Telecast In U.S. History – 117.7 Million Viewers!

With  a starting 111,300,000 viewers the 2012 Super Bowl telecast became the highest watched show on U.S. television E V E R. It beat out the previous record holder – which was last years Super Bowl at 111 million – but it gets better:

The ratings continued to climb:

1st HALF: Circa 111.3 million viewers (highest ratings for first half ever)

HALF TIME SHOW (Madonna): 114 million viewers (highest ratings ever for half time show)

2nd HALF: 117.7 million viewers (highest ratings ever in U.S. History).

Any naysayers have been put to bed – the Super Bowl is the biggest TV Event in the United States.
