Hugh Jackman To Return To Broadway In ‘Houdini’

You just can’t keep the Jackster down, after killing it with his $14.6m box office one man show that finished last sunday, to shooting the musical film adaption of ‘Les Miserables’, Hugh Jackman has been confirmed to take on the master magician Harry Houdini on Broadway.

‘Houdini’ is to be written by Oscar Winner Aaron Sorkin with music by Stephen Schwatrz and looks to hit the stage in 2013-2014.

Jackman said in a statement: “I have been deeply fascinated by the life of Harry Houdini since I was young, and in many ways I’ve been preparing for this role my whole life. I am thrilled to be collaborating with this collection of artists who are all at the top of their game.”
