Deep, dark, bloody and violent – F.3.A.R. picks up after the 2nd one left off with the Alma brothers re-united and breaking out of prison. Low light, high carnage and a suitably uncomfortable sound track along with an uber serious narrative that has no levity, this entry does deliver the first person shooter that we all know and love but its nothing more, to me, than an expansion pack that could’ve been added onto the previous game. It’s nicely animated and controls are fluid.
Just a pity there’s no real advancements in the game play arena. The Resistance series suffers from the same problem.
