Hugh Jackman’s Broadway One Man Show Breaks Records!

Hugh Jackman’s one man show, which closed last weekend, has smashed ticket sales records according to the Shubert Organisation and The Hollywood Reporter.

On stage at the Broadhurst Theater, Jackmans show earned a reported $2.057m in its final week – the highest single week gross figure ever for the Shubert organisation who own the venue. The Shubert Organisation own 17 venues (including the Broadhurst).

The 10 week run of the show hit these massive achievements:

* Reportedly earned $14.64m in box office and sold out the 1,176 seater venue repeatedly. (Source: Washington Post)
