Baz Luhrmann Knocks His Noggin On The Set Of ‘The Great Gatsby’

Warner Bros $125m 3D epic retelling of the classic F. Scott Fitzgerald novel ‘The Great Gatsby’ has endured an injury with the director, Aussie Baz Luhrmann, apparently smashing his head into a camera crane. The film, which has been shooting for 84 days in Sydney’s Fox Studios with Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, Carey Mulligan and Joel Edgerton, has now shut down a bit earlier for Xmas with final pieces of filming to be completed early in the new year.

It is expected that the injury to Mr Luhrmann will not cause delays on the release of the film.

3D THE GREAT GATSBY is due in Cinemas BOXING DAY 2012.
